NCoV–Based Considerations on Online- English Teaching and Traditional Classroom-English Teaching in China

Abstract
Facing the Novel Coronal Virus (NCoV) in China, teachers, and students are required to realize the idea “Class-stop means not stopping learning” so that all schools in China start the online teaching. This paper, from the view of NCoV , based on the educational principles and features of online English teaching and traditional classroom English teaching, contrastively discusses what goes on in these two teaching ways and attempts to prove that online English teaching is only used as a kind of teaching aids and cannot be considered as the equal status as the classroom English teaching, which may offer the sign both for design the teaching software and for the reform of our country’s education system.
